Sneaking a smoke

In this dream last night I was at the renfaire. I saw two of my friends, W and D, who are on cast there. They were trying to sneak a smoke since they are not allowed to be seen smoking while in character. I caught them and they told me to watch for anyone else coming up. Then my ex, J walks by also smoking. The weirdest part about the whole thing is that so far as I know W has never smoked and D only rarely did and he stopped that some time ago. Maybe I just really want a cigarette. I've done pretty good since I quit in December, but I really don't know what else that could be about.
